WhatsApp Payment Reminder Message Samples: Ready-to-Send Templates in Roman Urdu & English

A payment reminder message sample for WhatsApp is a short, polite note that tells the customer their name, the amount, and the date — nothing more. This guide gives you ready-to-send samples in Roman Urdu and English for every stage: before the due date, on the due date, when payment is overdue, and the final reminder. Copy the one that fits, fill in the name and amount, and send it.

The short answer

A good WhatsApp payment reminder is short, polite, and clear: the customer's name, the amount due, and the date. Send one before the due date, one on the due date, and firmer ones only if payment is late — and stop the moment the customer pays.

01

Why most payment reminders get ignored

Most reminders fail for a simple reason: they do not say what the customer needs to know. A message that only says “please pay your dues” leaves the customer guessing — how much, for what, by when? A message that sounds angry makes the customer avoid the shop instead of visiting it. And a message sent weeks late, after three due dates have passed, feels like a complaint, not a reminder.

Good reminders do the opposite. They arrive before the money is late, they name the amount and the date, and they give the customer one easy next step: pay at the shop, or reply to the message. That is why the templates below follow the same shape every time — greeting, name, amount, date, and a polite close. Change only the details, never the tone.

4 stages

Before the due date, on the due date, a few days overdue, and the final reminder — one message at each stage, nothing more.

2 languages

Every template below comes in Roman Urdu and English, so you can copy the version each customer actually reads.

No amount, no date, no action

If the customer has to ask “kitna?” or “kab tak?”, the reminder has already failed. Every template in this guide puts the amount and the date in the first two lines, so the customer never has to ask.

A scolding tone

Words like “you never pay on time” turn a small delay into a broken relationship. A customer who feels respected pays faster than a customer who feels cornered — and keeps buying from your shop afterwards.

The wrong timing

A reminder sent a month late is useless, and five messages in one day feel like harassment. One message at each stage, on schedule, collects more money than a flood of messages sent in anger.

How to use the templates: replace [Name], [amount], [date], and [Shop Name] with the real details. Keep the rest exactly as written — the wording is deliberately polite, short, and clear.

02

Payment reminder message samples before the due date

The best reminder is the one sent before the money is late. Sent one or two days before the due date, it lets the customer plan the payment instead of scrambling for it. It also proves your shop keeps proper records — customers respect a shop that reminds them politely instead of chasing them afterwards.

Before the due date — Roman Urdu

Assalam-o-Alaikum [Name], umeed hai aap khairiyat se hain. Aap ki qist Rs [amount] [date] ko due hai. Aap ki sahulat ke liye pehle se yaad dehani kar rahe hain. Shukriya — [Shop Name]

Before the due date — English

Hi [Name], a friendly reminder: your installment of Rs [amount] is due on [date]. You can pay at the shop or reply to this message if you need anything. Thank you — [Shop Name]

Short version for regular customers

For a customer who always pays on time, a short note is enough — and appreciated. Keep it warm, and never skip the amount and the date.

Salam [Name], aap ki qist Rs [amount] [date] ko due hai. Shukriya — [Shop Name]

03

Payment reminder message samples on the due date and after it

On the due date, the tone stays friendly but becomes direct: today is the date, here is the amount. A few days after the due date, add one question that solves most delays — is there a problem? Many customers are late because of a genuine difficulty, and a customer who can say so will agree a new date instead of disappearing.

On the due date — Roman Urdu

Assalam-o-Alaikum [Name], aaj aap ki qist Rs [amount] due hai. Jab sahulat ho, ada kar dein. Koi masla ho to reply kar dein, hum madad karenge. Shukriya — [Shop Name]

On the due date — English

Hi [Name], your installment of Rs [amount] is due today, [date]. Please pay at the shop when you can, or reply to this message if there is any problem. Thank you — [Shop Name]

A few days overdue — Roman Urdu

Assalam-o-Alaikum [Name], aap ki qist Rs [amount] [date] ko due thi aur abhi tak ada nahi hui. Agar koi mushkil hai to batayein, hum mil kar aik nayi date tay kar sakte hain. Aap ka jawab ka intezar rahega. Shukriya — [Shop Name]

A few days overdue — English

Hi [Name], your installment of Rs [amount] was due on [date] and we have not received it yet. If there is any difficulty, please let us know — we can agree a new date together. We look forward to your reply. Thank you — [Shop Name]

Do not send the overdue message on the same day as the due-date message. Give the customer a day or two to act, then move to the next stage. One message at each stage is firm; two messages in one day feels like pressure.

Writing every message yourself vs copied templates vs Rahnivo reminders

Copying a template is already a big step up from writing every message from scratch — but it still depends on someone remembering who is due, and checking who has already paid. Here is how the three ways compare on the jobs that actually matter.

The final reminder: firm without losing the customer

The final reminder is the only one that mentions a consequence — and it must still stay polite. It works because it is specific: the total amount overdue, the date by which you need a reply, and the next step if you do not hear back. Send it only after the earlier stages, never as the first message, and never discuss the customer's dues in a group chat.

Final reminder — Roman Urdu

Aap ki sahulat ke liye hum abhi bhi aik nayi date par baat kar sakte hain. Shukriya — [Shop Name]

Final reminder — English

Hi [Name], your total overdue amount is Rs [amount], overdue since [date]. Please reply or make the payment by [reply date]. If we do not hear from you by then, we will contact the guarantor named in your agreement, as agreed. We are still happy to discuss a new date before then. Thank you — [Shop Name]

After the final reminder, stop messaging and switch to a phone call or a visit. A customer who gets six warnings learns to ignore all of them; a customer who gets one final reminder, then a call, knows the shop is serious — and still feels treated with respect.

06

How to send them on time, every time

Templates alone do not collect money — a routine does. The routine that works in real shops has five steps, and it takes a few minutes each morning.

1. Open one daily due list every morning

One page: who owes money today, how much, and their phone number. No flipping through a register, no guessing who to message first.

2. Send the right stage, not the same message

Before-due customers get the before-due template, due-today customers get the due-date template, and overdue customers get the overdue template. The stage, not your mood, decides the wording.

3. Record every payment the same day

The moment money comes in, record it. That one habit is what stops paid customers from getting reminders by mistake — the most common cause of angry replies.

4. Send one thank-you message after payment

A thank-you message closes the loop, confirms the payment, and tells the customer the remaining balance. Customers who get a thank-you pay the next installment with less reminding.

Shukriya [Name], aap ki Rs [amount] ki payment mil gayi hai. Aap ka baqi balance Rs [balance] hai. Agli qist [date] ko due hai — [Shop Name]

5. Follow up only on silence

If a customer replies, answer them — do not send the next template anyway. If a customer stays silent through all four stages, call once, then visit. The templates do the reminding; you do the talking only where a message cannot.

You can watch this routine running in the live demo — the daily due list, the one-tap reminder, and the payment record, on real screens.

Frequently asked questions

How many payment reminders should I send before I call the customer?+

Four stages are enough: one before the due date, one on the due date, one when payment is a few days overdue, and one final reminder. If there is still no reply after the final reminder, a phone call or a visit is the next step — not a fifth message saying the same thing.

Should my reminders be in Urdu or in English?+

Send them in the language your customer reads most easily. For most Pakistani shop customers, that is Roman Urdu — Urdu written in English letters, which anyone can read on a phone without changing a keyboard. This guide gives every template in both Roman Urdu and English so you can copy the one that fits each customer.

What should I do if a customer does not reply to my reminder?+

Do not send the same message again the same day. Move to the next stage on schedule, then call once. If the call also goes unanswered, visit the shop address on record or contact the guarantor named in the agreement — step by step, with the full payment history in front of you.

Can Rahnivo send these reminders for me?+

Yes. The system sends a reminder before each due date with the customer's name and amount, and from the daily recovery sheet you can send a manual reminder to anyone who is already late with one tap. Once a payment is recorded, that customer stops getting reminders for that installment.

Is it right to mention the guarantor in a reminder message?+

Not in the first messages. Mention the guarantor only in the final reminder, and only as the next step named in the agreement — for example, that you will contact the guarantor if you do not hear back by a stated date. Never discuss one customer's dues in a group chat or with family members.

What if a customer paid but still gets a reminder?+

That happens when the payment was not recorded the same day. Record every payment at once — cash, bank transfer, or in-shop — and send a short thank-you message. In a system, recording the payment stops that installment's reminders at once, so a paid customer never gets chased by mistake.
